Motion Builds Momentum

Sir Issac Newton stated, as his first law of motion, that a body that is already in motion tends to stay in motion.

Well known author Steven Pressfield in his book, “The War of Art,” said the following about writers, but equally applies to any of us when faced with a task or endeavor that feels overwhelming or daunting:

“There’s a secret that real writers know that wannabe writers don’t, and the secret is this: It’s not the writing part that’s hard. What’s hard is sitting down to write.”

The hardest part of any task is just getting started.

So, start, and let momentum take you forward.
